Lads On Tour

To take full advantage of this glorious weather (and the fact our lack of office means we’re nomadic in nature anyway) we’ll be taking Barely Regal on the road for the month of April, under the guise of our alter ego as Among Brothers. Sadly, amid frantic preparations to get all the dates booked and transport sorted we didn’t get a chance to sort out t-shirts with our ‘hilarious’ nicknames on the back for the real lads on tour experience, but we did have time get some brand new Among Brothers merch printed up which will be on sale on the tour. We’re playing nine dates around the UK (read: the South West), starting with a show with Talons in Cheltenham on saturday, and then eight dates with our good friends Holland. A few familiar faces from Cardiff will be joining us for the Bristol and Newport shows too. All the dates are up on the lovely tour poster above (put together for us by Jacob Halpern), but for those of you who like your information hyperlinked (or are too lazy to scroll up) here they are again: Saturday 23rd April – The Frog & Fiddle, Cheltenham w/ Talons Sunday 24th April – The Green Door Store, Brighton* Monday 25th April – The Windmill, London* Tuesday 26th April – Bargate Gallery, Southampton* Wednesday 27th April – The Cooler, Bristol** Thursday 28th April - Le Pub, Newport*** Friday 29th April – Bunters Bar, Truro* Saturday 30th April – Ride Café, Plymouth* Sunday 1st May – Gylli Café, Falmouth* (* = w/Holland, ** = w/Holland and I Am Hope, *** = w/Holland plus special guests) If you live near any of those places please come and say hello, and check out Holland, who are incredible (and nice guys to boot). We’ll have the entire Barely Regal distro with us - yep, all three releases we have to date - so if you still haven’t had a chance to pick up a copy of the 'Zero Years' compilation or the SNFAS/Samoans split then you’ll have an unique chance for us to make the exchange without having to get Royal Mail involved. Because we'll have copies of everything with us anyway we'll still endeavour to get any online orders posted out as soon as possible, but with all the bank holidays and the lack of proximity to post offices there may be a tiny delay on getting stuff sent out. We'll be posting out all orders we get after tomorrow on May 3rd at the very latest. Time to get back to packing and mentally preparing for the occasion, by which I mean  trying to locate my sleeping bag, drinking a shit tonne of coffee and napping on the sofa in anticipation of nine days without sleep.
