Hello Radness

We’re incredibly honoured to have been asked to support the almighty Los Campesinos! at their last show of the year at Islington Assembly Hall on Saturday the 15th December 2012. This is ridiculously exciting for two key reasons:

1.     LC! are one of our collective favourite bands, both as musicians and as people.

2.     It’ll be the last show of their ‘Hello Sadness’ era before they go into the studio to write/record album #5 (prolific much?!), which means new LC! material is in the pipeline. Great stuff.

Considering it’s going to be the last show they’ll be doing for a while (in the UK at least) this is almost certainly going to sell out FAST, so worth getting your hands on a ticket from here if you’re keen:

We’ll also be sharing the stage with the excellent Sparky Deathcap, who incidentally did the illustration for the gorgeous poster for the show (see above). This is excellent news, considering we’ve been fans of Rob’s music for a long time, and only get to see him play once in a blue moon…mostly because (as the busiest man on earth) he only performs live once in a blue moon.

In other Among Bros news, we're actually making a pilgrimage back to Cardiff this weekend to record two new tracks under the supervision of Charlie Francis, both of which will be out as a double A-side single later in the year (more news on that soon!). There will be equal amounts of THIS:

Can't bloody wait.
